GTL is also a proud sponsor of the Correctional Peace Officer’s Foundation. This foundation is a national non-profit charity that has as its primary mission to preserve and support the surviving families of correctional officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
GTL is an active participant with the Law Enforcement Torch Run. For example in Virginia GTL has helped sponsor the Virginia Law Enforcement Torch Run through donations to the Virginia DOCs Zume-A-Lube golf tournament and Riverside Regional Jail’s Torch Run campaign.
In addition, GTL supports The National Association of State Technology Directors (NASTD), a member-driven organization whose purpose is to advance and promote the effective use of information technology and services to improve the operation of state government. NASTD represents information technology professionals from the 50 states, divided into four regions and the private sector.
