For the first time, non-custodial parents in Virginia have a new option for paying child support thanks to a unique partnership between TouchPay, a subsidiary of GTL and the Virginia Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE).
This first-of-its kind arrangement in Virginia offers parents three convenient methods to make child support payments: using cash, a credit card or debit card at the payment kiosks located in the Virginia Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE); dialing into an interactive voice response system; or an online web portal. All of these payment channels and payment options make it convenient for parents to easily make child support payments from almost anywhere and at any time. Since the program’s initial launch in September 2015, the system has collected more than $3 million in payments.
Now, all 20 districts in the Commonwealth have deployed these easy-to-use kiosks which include instructions in both English and Spanish and provide an immediate receipt ensuring that funds are distributed to the appropriate account.
GTL Financial Services is proud to be a part of this exciting development. We are committed to streamlining services and reducing costs, by helping eliminate cash handling by agencies and increasing convenience for customers.
